Restaurant & Food Service Marketing

Restaurant and Food Service Marketing is about setting yourself apart from all the other choices people have when it comes to dining out.

You want to communicate to consumers what makes you unique. Each restaurant has its own personality and unique qualities.  Your message to consumers must tell them why they should visit you…what do you offer that no one else does.

Café de Paris

We wanted to capture the charm and ambiance of this French bistro.  When you walk in the door you get the feeling that you’ve traveled to Paris.  The music, the artwork, the entire décor.  You are even greeted by a charming Frenchman who will escort you to your table.

The television spot we created utilized a series of dissolves first from a famous impressionist painting to a live shot of a couple assuming a similar pose that is part of the painting.  Lively French music plays in the background.  The unique thing about the spot is that it starts out with a French voice over with English subtitles.  It then switches from a French voice to English with French subtitles.

Coco Lopez

The tv spot featured dancing bottles taking part in several active sports, waterskiing, baseball, biking etc.   Each one of the flavors of the Tropical Juice participated or danced into a different sports scene along with the word Drink both visually displayed with a voice-over shouting Drink…The spot closed showing all the flavors and the tagline Taste The Tropics.

Obrycki’s

Established in 1944, their motto is simple…Steamed Crabs, Crab Cakes and More since 1944.  All we had to do is show the crabs being steamed and brought to the table.  Let people know that it is Crab Season and They Will Come…and they did.

Toby’s Dinner and Show

When you combine good quality food with a Broadway like production in one evening…you have Toby’s Dinner Theatre.  All you really have to do is announce what tremendously popular show is being performed and people will come.  That’s what we did in the television spot.  We could not show any footage from the show…so we enticed the viewers with music from the show and told them to “get your tickets before they sell out.

Gino’s

The popular “Hamburger Joint” from the 1960’s was making a comeback.  So we brought back the catchy jingle and theme song from that era and just like back then we sang the phrase…”Everybody Goes To Gino’s…Cause Gino’s is The Place To Go.  We featured the Gino Giant Hamburger that everyone remembers from the old days and who can forget those real thick hand spun milkshakes.

We connected with Orioles baseball. Ran spots featuring the popular sports announcer Keith Mills, who actually work at Gino’s in his youth.  And who can forget former Baltimore Colts Hall of Fame Defensive End…Gino Marchetti…for whom the chain was named back in the day.

Gino was at all the store openings and made other special appearance throughout the year.

Tino’s

Where are you going to go from brunch on the weekend, that includes homemade brunch food and music? Tino’s of course.  The ads featured a smorgasbord of delicious treats that were included on the Weekend Brunch Menu.
